I started using ChatGPT
to write my workouts.
It was working.
The problem was I was copying and pasting huge chunks of text on my phone, losing context constantly, and starting from scratch every session. So I built something to fix that.
That got out of hand. I went down a rabbit hole of scientific studies into periodisation and training theory. That's what the logic is built on. I built the UI for me, but as I was doing it I thought I'd treat it as a real project — something a stranger might actually use.
Forge manages proper periodised programming. Year goals, six-week blocks, weekly structure that remembers what you lifted last time. The output isn't just numbers — it's actual progress. Something tangible in the real world.
I'm on Build A of V2 with up to Build F mapped out, which I might get to one day if anyone aside from my mates starts using it.
I still use it every day.
